Three Oaks Public School Academy Board of Directors stands firm for safe, secure schools, and makes the tough decisions to ensure that every child receives a first class education free of disruption, threat, and fear. The Board is focused on student achievement, parent satisfaction, and a safe, secure location for learning.
Three Oaks Public School Academy operates under the public school academy governance structure in which the Academy is authorized. Bay Mills Community College (BMCC) appoints Three Oaks Public School Academy Board of Directors. Members are required to be bona fide citizens of Michigan, undergo a criminal records check, and comply with conflict of interest guidelines established by law and BMCC.

Lynn Young, President
Lynn has been a member of the Muskegon community for over seventy years. Ms. Young wanted to be part of a positive educational experience, while giving back to education in a positive way. An alumni from Western Michigan University, Ms. Young received her BS in Education, and was a teacher for many years. Now retired, Lynn is involved with River of Life Church and the McLaughlin School Retirees group.
James Crocker, Vice President & Treasurer
James became involved in TOPSA when his children attended, and has continued to serve on the board since. A Muskegon native for 14 years, James is passionate about the community of Muskegon. A graduate of GVSU, Mr. Crocker is a quality engineer who enjoys being involved with Journey Community Church, and believes that education is the foundation to a thriving community.
Wendy S Brown, Secretary
For the past five years, Wendy Brown has been a member of the Muskegon community. Ms. Brown has a BA of Science from Baker College, and spends her time working with Pound Buddies, United Way, and CEBS. She has always wanted to work in an area where she could assist more children than her own. Life has taken Wendy down a different path career wise, but preseted her with an opportunity to serve on the board.
Ashley Williams, Trustee
A true native of Muskegon, Ashley has lived in Muskegon all her life. She also attended Baker College of Muskegon, receiving her bachelors degree in social work. Within her community, Ms. Williams volunteers with Catholic Charities and Journey of Hope. She originally wanted to be a part of the Three Oaks board because she's always wanted to work with children, and has a passion to advocate for children.
